Today we depart Vermont for our journey to Maryland where we enjoy a weekend of minor league baseball. We arrive in time to check into our hotel in Edgewood, MD where we spend the next two evenings.  We travel to Cal Ripken Stadium located a short distance from our hotel.  We enjoy reserved seating for the Ironbirds vs. the Vermont Lake Monsters.  Dinner is on your own at the park. 

 

July 18, 2009

Following a late morning deluxe continental breakfast, we board the coach for a trip to the Baltimore Inner Harbor.  Here you can enjoy the many attractions on your own as the Inner Harbor has to offer.  You may choose to visit the Maryland Science Center, the Baltimore Aquarium, the Baltimore Maritime Museum, shopping or a water taxi ride through the harbor.  We depart the Inner Harbor for Regency Stadium where we enjoy a game between the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs vs. the Camden Riversharks.  Prior to the game we will have the chance to meet former Red Sox Manager, Butch Hobson followed by a two hour unlimited buffet dinner that includes hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled pork and all the fixins’ as we watch the game above the left field wall.  (DCB, D)
