Vermont's mountain resorts and lush green valleys are home to numerous fine golf courses From gently rolling to professionally challenging, Vermont's vermont golf packageslandscape provides superior golf for all abilities. Beginners will find plenty of beautifully contoured fairways on which to improve their game. Scratch players will find some of the East's most challenging courses... sloping fairways to test all skills, large manicured greens protected by sand and water. Players of all ages and abilities will be awed by the beautiful vistas and magnificent scenery.

Vermont's golf course's are all seasonal, usually open from May to late October. Many courses offer adjacent lodging and other's are a short distance away from quaint inns, lodges and hotels. Sugar Tours will customize your package to fit the needs and abilities of your group. You may choose to play the same course or a different course each day. Vermont offers over 56 courses designed by names such as; Geoffrey Cornish, Robert Trent Jones, Donald Ross, Desmond Muirhead and Jack Nicklaus.

In Southern Vermont you may choose to play and stay in the Mount Snow Region. At Mount Snow you will have the choice to play at Mount Snow, vermont golfHaystack, Stratton, Tater Hill, or Mount Anthony. You may choose to stay in deluxe condominiums or at either the Matterhorn Inn or Ironstone Inn. Both inns offer 30+ rooms with varied amenities. We will also arrange lodging at the Stratton Mountain Inn which is located 1/4 of mile from the golf club.

In Central Vermont you may choose to play and stay from a variety of locations. You may choose to play at Proctor-Pittsford, Green Mountain National, Killington, Neshobe, or Rutland. Lodging may be arranged at the Holiday Inn, Historic Brandon Inn, or the Cortina Inn.

In Northern Vermont we also offer a variety of courses and lodging. Choose to play at Basin Harbor, Rocky Ridge, Cedar Knoll, Kwiniaska. Within an hour drive you may also choose to play at Stowe or Sugarbush. Lodging may be arranged at the Travelodge or Best Western Windjammer. We also can arrange lodging at the Stowe Mountain Resort.

Whatever region you choose to play you will find excellent lodging accommodations and quality golf. Please see our description page for courses and our accommodation page for some of your lodging choices.

We will arrange packages for groups of 12 - 100 for golf, meals and accommodations. If your a golf widow we will arrange other activities so that you will be able to enjoy your vacation in the Green Mountains.


Golf in the Green Mountains - Southern Vermont

2006 Estimated Pricing

Day 1: Group arrival. Your group may choose to play a round of 18 before your arrival. Choose from the courses listed below. Dinner is on your own at one of the areas fine restaurants.

Day 2: A hearty country breakfast is served before departing for the course. This morning you may choose to play 18 holes of championship golf at the courses below. Lunch is on your own. * An additional round may be played in the afternoon for an extra charge. This evening choose from many fine restaurants in the area.

Day 3: Another hearty country breakfast is served. This morning you may either choose to play the same course or try a different course.

Courses:

Mount Snow Golf Club
An 18 Hole, par 72 championship mountain course designed by Geoffrey Cornish. Bent & Poe greens, ruff & fairways.

Haystack Golf Club
An 18 Hole, par 72 championship golf course designed by Desmond Muirhead. Course offers bent grass greens, ruff and fairways.

Mount Anthony Golf Club
An 18 hole, par 71 course. This is the second oldest course in the state built in 1898. Course offers small bent greens that are well bunkered.

Stratton Mountain Golf Course
Stratton offers three nine hole layouts. The Lake Course is designed around a large lake with six holes playing around the lake. The Mountain Course offers elevated well bunkered greens and beautiful views. The Forest Course plays through birch and maple lined tight fairways. ** An additional $15 p.p., per day to play.

Dinner may be added to the package for an additional cost of $20-$25 per person. Day 3: Continental breakfast is served at your hotel or inn.
