DAY 1   BOSTON TO MAINE
Arrive by 1:00PM. Meet Tour Director and travel by deluxe motorcoach through Maine. Overnight Bangor.  Dinner included

DAY 2   MAINE TO NEW BRUNSWICK
Travel north to FDR’s summer retreat at Campobello. Cross Canadian border at St. Stephen.  Overnight St. John.

DAY 3   BAY OF FUNDY TO PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
Visit  Fundy Bay site of the highest tides in the world. See Flowerpot Rocks and Hopewell Rocks Interpretive Center. Travel the new Confederation Bridge to PEI. Overnight near Charlottetown.

DAY 4  PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
AM Tour of the Island. The many shades of green along with the blue of the sky and sea and red of the rich soil make this a photographer’s dream. Visit Anne of Green Gables Home. PM Ferry to Nova Scotia. Overnight Cape Breton.

DAY 5  CABOT TRAIL
Visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum before traveling on one of the most beautiful drives in North America. It’s possible that we may see eagles and maybe even moose today!

DAY 6  CAPE BRETON TO HALIFAX
Travel to Halifax, Nova Scotia’s largest city. After our tour of the city we’ll have time on the waterfront to browse the shops. This evening we attend the International Tattoo –
The military and civilian extravaganza featuring over 2000 International and Canadian performers.

DAY 7  THE CITADEL AND PEGGYS COVE
We visit the Citadel which dominates the city with its impressive ramparts and fortifications. Later travel to Peggy’s Cove – a uniquely rugged fishing village centered around a narrow ocean inlet and dominated by a lighthouse perched high up on huge, wave-washed granite boulders. Later return to Halifax.

DAY 8  THE EVANGELINE TRAIL
Travel this morning to the Evangeline trail. Visit Grand Pre Historic Site which shows the history of the Acadians in Nova Scotia and commemorates the epic poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Continue through the Annapolis Valley – the most fertile farming area in the Province – to Yarmouth.

DAY 9  CAT FERRY BACK TO THE STATES
Board the Bay Ferries Catamaran for a three hour ride to Bar Harbor, ME. Continue to Portland for our overnight.

DAY 10   RETURN TO BOSTON
Depart for Boston. We should arrive by noon.
